Artist Biography

Elizabeth has enjoyed a highly successful painting career, winning over 45 major art awards and having her work featured in more than 40 prominent public art collections across Australia. Alongside her artistic achievements, she has dedicated many years to teaching art to both adults and children at universities, art colleges, TAFE schools, seminars, and private classes in New South Wales, Queensland, and Tasmania.

In 2000, she was among 200 notable Australians invited to participate in the *Paint a Picture for St Pat’s* fundraising appeal for the cathedral's restoration. As Artist in Residence with the Albert Shire Council in 1986, she captured the region’s diversity while leading community projects aimed at fostering creativity, pride, and collective engagement—a commitment she continues to uphold.

In 1995, Elizabeth was selected to paint at Arthur Boyd's historic *Riversdale* property under the Bundanon Trust. The following year, she was invited to mentor students at the Sunshine Coast University, further reflecting her dedication to both art and education.
